Our clients come to us with a problem -- to establish or increase their presence in the mobile space. Before we begin work any app, we have a preliminary meeting with each client to define the specific need they are looking to fill.
After identifying the client’s needs, we work directly with the client in determining the app’s purpose. Will the app provide a virtual alternative to a physical service? Will it provide branded entertainment to potential customers? Will it direct potential customers to client locations? A great app begins with a well-defined purpose.
Traffic in the mobile space is skyrocketing to never-before seen levels, and businesses in a wide variety of fields are entering the mobile space to capitalize. What is going to make our client’s app stand out? We believe that an outstanding app must have intuitive utility, provide genuine entertainment, and/or provide lasting value. We work directly with the client to determine how we can combine one or all of these elements with the app’s purpose to produce an app that will stand out in the increasingly crowded mobile space.
A great app idea means very little if the app’s functionality is confusing or unintuitive. We pride ourselves on our design sense and our ability to work closely with our clients. We use a few prototyping software tools to “sketch” out each app, and we walk our clients fully through it. After this step, the client knows exactly how the app will function, and approximately how the app will appear. Any big-picture changes to the app are made at this stage, before actual development has started, saving everyone time and money.
Once the rough design is agreed upon, its time to get to coding. Our skilled and experienced team of developers can make the design a reality in a very expedient fashion.
When the app is getting close to completion, we pass the client multiple rounds of “Ad Hoc” versions of the app to review. We carefully document and resolve any changes our clients desire and any bugs that we find in our code. Our “Client Zone” system makes this process extremely easy relative to the third party systems most of clients use, and provides all parties involved with important status information on the app. With these many rounds of communication, we can guarantee the client receives a final product with no surprises. Of course, if you want to leave it all in our hands, we can do that too.
Everyone is happy with the product, and its time to post the app to the store. Within two weeks, the app is approved by Apple. We offer app marketing services to get the word out, and we provide a multitude of in app analytics to clients who desire them. The process doesn’t end here though. Mobile device manufacturers are continuously pushing the limits of the technology and adding features to their devices. What is cutting edge today may be obsolete tomorrow. Thus, we feel the best way to keep our client’s apps relevant is to periodically update them to take advantage of new features and to keep app-users on the edges of their seats.

Bowers & Wilkins challenged Aurnhammer to develop a mobile experience that would enhance the launch of their new product; the Zeppelin Air. Utilizing Apple's AirPlay(R) technology, Aurnhammer designed and developed the Zeppelin Air App. Now you can air your tunes, share your tunes and hear your tunes like never before. The Zeppelin Air App creates a shared wireless playlist between iOS devices, allowing users to build a social music community for the Zeppelin Air. Although the Zeppelin Air App was built to extend the enjoyment of the Zeppelin Air, the social music playlist works with most audio players.
Make art with the swipe of your finger! Fancy art folk call it organic decollage in the style of the Les Affichistes, but we call it Tear Art. Tear Art is a fun and simple way to create original artwork. Select your images, place them in layers, then tear through the layers to reveal pieces of the images below. The faster you swipe, the bigger the tear. The beauty of the art form is the combination of purposeful action and random results that reveal themselves to the artist while they work. Save your art to your gallery, or share with the social community right from the app.
